On today’s episode of the podcast, I talk with Mary Wilkerson about trusting God’s plan and saying YES even when it doesn’t match our idea of perfect. Mary shares some great stories of following God’s lead and doing His will even when it means saying no to something you really want to say yes to. But as always, God was generous and faithful.
Mary and I giggle over the challenges of motherhood, especially when it comes to not getting the recognition we once got in our ministry days. And we talk about the pressures of balancing ministry and family life. And, we share how we both had to decide whether or not to take our newborns to World Youth Day in 2011 when we were scheduled to chaperone. We did not choose the same thing. One of us left the newborn! YIKES. But, it was a great conversation and I hope you enjoy it!
Listen to the episode and tell me, what would you have done with your newborn?
