Episode 2: Permission to Find Joy in Motherhood with Alex DeRose

Sometimes it’s a challenge to find joy in motherhood. When all the demands of running a household and raising little ones become overwhelming it can be easy to forget the whole point. But God has called each of us to use our unique gifts in our journey of motherhood. We may struggle at times, wondering whether or not we are doing the “right” thing, but the truth is, there is no “right” way to be a mother.

On today’s episode of the podcast, Alexandria DeRose talks about why it’s so important for each mother to discern what God is asking them to do. And, she shares some great tips to find joy in motherhood even when you don’t feel very joyful.

You know, we are all really trying to do the right thing. What’s the best way of being a mom? We get so confused by asking that question but the right question to ask is what’s the right thing for me, not what’s the right thing. There’s not one right thing.”
